to the rainforest!
Eat fruit freshly harvested from our organic garden and drink our freshly brewed organic coffee. Your own personal bilingual tour guide will introduce you to the tropical rainforest and explain how we work in harmony with this delicate ecosystem. From the rainforest deck, we will lead you through our medicinal plant garden, where you will learn about traditional healing techniques, sample organic herbs and fruits, and catch a glimpse of hummingbirds and toucans enjoying the garden’s bounty.
Welcome to cooking class!
Refresh your palate with a refreshing ginger lemonade while you learn to make one of Costa Rica’s unique and delicious recipes. One of our workers will demonstrate how we harvest the heart of palm , and your guide will show you how to make a quick, easy ceviche using the heart of palm grown and harvested directly from our farm!

Take a seat in our tractor-pulled cart or hike with our guide through rows of ornamental flowers, rolling groves of macadamia and cacao (chocolate) trees. Learn how we balance the needs of our plants with rainforest preservation. Keep your eyes open for rare hummingbirds, macaws, and toucans!
Time for a Healthy Gourmet Lunch!
Return to the plant to indulge in a gourmet Costa Rican lunch – starting with the delicious ceviche you prepared in the cooking class. Followed, by meat in red wine and rosemary sauce, heart of palm roasted with freshly harvested macadamia, traditional rice and beans, mixed vegetables, a fresh salad, homemade tortillas, and sugar-cane roasted macadamia for dessert!
